MARAC Awareness Day

Event description This event is targeted at any professional that may come into contact with women, children and men, who may be exposed to domestic violence and abuse. Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) are multiagency case conferences that keep high risk victims of domestic violence and abuse safe and free from harm. The event will include: The Background to MARACS, What is a MARAC? MARAC Operating Protocol, DASH Risk Assessment, How to make a referral and The Survivor’s voice.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS COURSE IS FREE TO ATTEND BUT A CANCELLATION CHARGE WILL BE MADE FOR ALL (CONTRIBUTING AND NON-CONTRIBUTING AGENCIES) FOR LATE CANCELLATION OR FAILURE TO ATTEND ON THE DAY - SEE THE HSCB CHARGING POLICY FOR FULL DETAILS OF CANCELLATION CHARGES.
